Optus Sport obtains the rights to the Spanish football league LaLiga


Optimus Sports secured the exclusive Australian rights for the Spanish La Liga.

The multi-year deal gives Optus Sport an additional 380 games per season and will also include selected live matches from LaLiga SmartBank, the second tier of Spanish football, including promotion play-offs and a range of other highlight programmes, d news and reviews.

With the addition of Spain’s top 20 teams, Optus Sport has welcomed the likes of Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, ​​Atletico de Madrid, Sevilla FC and many more as they join major clubs in the Premier League. English League, all in one place.

The announcement follows news that Optus Sport have also acquired the exclusive Australian rights to UEFA EURO 2024.

The 2022/23 LaLiga season kicks off on Optus Sport on the weekend of August 13-14, 2022.
