Even though the fantasy football drama between San Francisco Giants outfielder Joc Pederson and Boston Red Sox outfielder Tommy Pham is in the rearview mirror, other teams in the league won’t let them forget it. The Milwaukee Brewers trolled Pederson about the incident when the Giants arrived in town Thursday.

When Pederson took the plate at American Family Field, the Brewers threw an interesting trivia about the players on the jumbotron. The Brewers noted that Pederson is “very familiar with bench/IR rules in fantasy football”.

Pederson got a small payback by hitting a home run in Game 2 of that double-header.

The dispute between Pederson and Pham erupted when Pham, of the Cincinnati Reds at the time, slapped Pederson over a fantasy football controversy.

Pham argued that Pederson cheated by moving a player listed as an IR point in order to pick up another player. Pham faced Pederson in the league group chat, but the altercation escalated when the two met in person before a match between the Reds and Giants.

In the fallout from the incident, Pham blasted former league commissioner, Los Angeles Angels superstar Mike Trout for not enforcing the rules.

“Trout is the worst commissioner in fantasy sports”, Pham said, via The Athletic. “Because he allowed a lot of bullshit to go on and he could have solved it all. Nobody wanted to be commissioner, I didn’t want to be the f—ing commissioner. I have other s He don’t didn’t want to do it, we put it on him. It was a bit of our fault too, because we made him commissioner.

The slap earned Pham a three-game suspension, and he’s no longer in that fantasy football league.
